Think it's escaped people's notice that next year we have existed for a hundred years , isn't it fitting that we are going to be in the top flight for at least a majority of that ? Anyone know the exact date in 1912 that we came into being ?
After a web search , apparently formed in the summer of 1912 with first professional game v Cardiff on 7th sep 1912.
I noticed that a little while ago too! Surely the club will look that up... hopefully it´ll coincide with some big team playing at the Liberty in the Premiership this season...or next! I´d imagine they´ve at least provisionally had a look at it, surely? Not the kind of thing that just sneaks up on you!
It´ll have to be next season then eh? What odds would you get on us staying up, Cardiff getting promoted and then us playing them on the exact date? That´s my kind of bet!
