    I'd like to see Sess play behind Gyan as he has been doing very well in that position. But saying that all 3 players behind Gyan could play in any of those positions. But totally agree with everything else, including the decision to drop a certain underperforming player.

    Except Ned for Elmo.

    What about a fully fit Mensah? I think he is a better defender than Turner, however Turner is our tallest CB and does win a lot of headers so it's a tough one..

    I'd move Sess into the middle behind Gyan, bring Hendo in on the right and have Richo on the bench.

    Great to hear from you notts, thought you must have fallen out with us. The great thing is I could put Henderson, Elmo, Mensah,Anton, Steed, Campbell in and they would all fit and not let us down, how good is that for us Sunderland fans.

    Whilst i agree Mensah is a better player, i think there's something Turner gives us that we don't get with anyone else.

    He's brave and he is dominant in the air, i think we'd have 6 points out of the last 9 with Turner, i do believe that.

    Not the best footballer, but a great defender, a proper Sunderland player who would take a kick in the face to save a throw in.

    HAHA, you cheeky old man! ;) We bought a house back in November Syd, all good at the moment, not too skint yet, managed to book 2 holidays this year which I can't wait for! Corfu in May and Lake District in October. Hows things with you?
