He said: "The love I got from the supporters both during my time here and all throughout the summer definitely played a part in my decision. It was a big one for me, and I had to take my time to make sure I was making a move that was the right one for my career. I had a long think about it and decided it would be good for me at this stage of my career to move out of my comfort zone a little bit. I worked hard to try to force my way into the picture at Colchester, but I ran out of patience in the end. I'm at a stage of my career where I need to be playing regular football if I am to achieve all the things I want to in the game. I didn't really want to drop a league, but I enjoyed my time here on loan last season and I feel I am coming to a club that holds the same ambition as I do. I don't want to be playing in League Two. I mean no disrespect when I say that, but I wouldn't have signed this deal if I didn't think getting promotion to League One was possible". Taken from the Post. please log in to view this image
