Today's headlines from the BBC site.... 1) Championship side Charlton Athletic sign Tottenham Hotspur forward Jonathan Obika on loan until the end of the season.. 2) Huddersfield Town sign Derby County striker Theo Robinson on loan until the end of the season. 3) Derby County are set to sign striker Chris Martin on an initial one-month loan deal from Premier League side Norwich. 4) Hull City have signed Peterborough midfielder George Boyd on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent deal. 5) Leicester City have signed striker Harry Kane from Tottenham on a loan deal until the end of the season. 6) Barnsley have signed Manchester United's Ryan Tunnicliffe on a 28-day loan deal after Scott Golbourne was ruled out for the rest of the season. All this activity going on why are we so DEAD....?
Don't know mate we are 2 forwards injured. 2 central defenders missing and have been for the past 5 years.
We're Bristol city. We don't buy players, We don't get loans, We do it on our own, It will be our downfall, We always believe............... Something needs to happen and why we haven't got one bloody player in yet is a joke. Surely any player right now would be an improvement, Its only a loan if there **** we don't have to keep them and we're where we are now. TAKE A RISK BCFC, TAKE A ****ING RISK
He's still a doubt for the match tomorrow and sky say he wont be playing along with carey. Skuse isn't fit either along with taylor. Moloney is a risk also. But its ok weve got loads of players coming in........... We should defo go in for Elokobi next season, Sure he would love to work with SOD again and he loved his (short) time here.
He's over the preferred age of 24 and salary would probably not fit us in Championship or League Two.
Apart from Boyd (whose deal is part of a permanent move anyway) how many of these would improve our team???
The headlines are random, the point I hope to make is, a load of clubs are out there sorting out their needs, we are dead, nothing.....
i think our needs are the defence and the lack of defenders is prevalent in a lot of teams from the top flight down
