As one of their games is against us if we won every game Sunderland couldn't finish above us even if they won every game except the one against us. We would have 98 points and they could only get 96.

I know neither likely to win every game but if we did we will finish above them as one of those games is us v them.

Will be a difficult game though. Did someone say earlier they've not lost away all season?

Just seen on Twitter that they've had 7 clean sheets in their last 8 games.

Just hoping their fixture pile-up will cause some fatigue for them.
 
Mackem's results in 2021 is 11-5-2 = 38 pts.

That's 2.11 pts/game.

Decent long term form as the 2 losses were Feb 9th & Jan 19th.

We'd both end up with 87 points if City maintained their points/game they've had over the whole season-to-date and Sunlan maintained the points/game they've managed this calendar year.

Goal difference again !

We are flying like and with key players starting to return. We are going to go very close. We have had a central midfielder playing centre half and a central midfielder playing right back for most our games for weeks and weeks and we still barely ever concede. Our new striker finally got some minutes tonight and scored.

I fancy us and Hull to go up. We are relentless and have the best forward in the league

You do indeed have the best forward in the league at the moment but we have 3 forwards in the top 25.
Let's see how you get on if/when you do lose a game.

We also have McGeady who having only started playing in December is the top assist maker in the league. I cannot even remember the last time we conceded. To be where we are with the injuries we have had is credit to the manager. You can have top mate i dont care we just need out of this league. Now we have a lot of money behind us if we do go up we will be able to more than compete
