I've just been looking around the other boards and they are practically empty.. why? Here on this board, we have around 330 threads, the closest to us after that is Orient with 33. I know 606 is not yet closed but how come we have so many more people than anyone else in our league on here?
I would suggest get some adverts on BBC 606 on the other team boards informing them of NOT606 ... then get some members to put their thoughts of the website on the thread to attract newbies from other teams in League One!
We are of course brilliant! The trouble is getting started. If you went on a board and no one answered you, you'd give up. Saints fans will go anywhere to talk Saints. I wonder how busy the other boards are on 606 itself...never checked.
I have at different times and they are nearly all dead. You have a few hardy supporters but you can't advertise your wares if the buggers don't turn their computer on to our site or say 606? I see one of the other site had a post removed by the mods regarding an advert for their site. So suggest go easy for the moment as they seem to be watching.
On 606, we have 13 pages. A random selection of 6 other teams including Brighton have 1-3 pages. We're obviously just very chatty.
The trouble is that if 606 is quiet and only a fraction of them cross over to not606 it will be still be dead on the other boards. Glad I'm a Saint.
Some clubs fans use forums that are just for their club, rather than multi club sites like 606 (and not606 for that matter). Take Yeovil Town for instance. It seems that most of them use a forum called The Green Room, which is very active. I'm sure this is the same for a few other clubs aswell. Especially the smaller ones.
I have been impressed by the way that this site has grown so quickly. No bickering and name calling when we disagree and friendly appearances from the blue half has also helped. This place could grow even more next season once(god willing) we have climbed back up to the Championship.
Went to Orient site..no sign of match comment. Responded to amusing video someone had posted, then realised it was posted in March. Nothing has been added to their board since March. Sad.
Anyone tried advertising more on the original 606? Actually I think Kingsland did that about a week ago and it got modded!! Mods on there really are useless!!
I think that it's the same as the Beeb? You are a big city, compared to most other L1 teams, hence you get more posts, although it does seem disproportionate even so. Well done today, I think Southampton are nailed on for 2nd place now.
I am not the only one then, although I have to admit my thoughts are changing to one of belief with every great day like today has been. For us to lose it now would seem a tad careless in my book.
Brighton fan here. All of our fans tend to stick with our main fans forum, North Stand Chat. It is the busiest fans forum in League 1 and one of the busiest in the country.
