Chatting to a few people last night, all big City fans, no one with the REAL inside track, but they all have reasonably reliable contacts, (different ones) at the club and every one of them (5 or 6) agreed that a certain other message boards posts, are 90% bullshit, and how can I put this, slightly embroidered to make the poster look like they have the REAL guff and they are the main men.

I should be the last to make this accusation, but at least I'll post my stuff as rumour, and not as gospel.

Anyway as an interesting little wager, we all chucked a fiver in the kitty (winner takes all <ok>), and a rumour was crafted, the plan being that one of the lads would drop a whisper in a few ears (just as a rumour <ok>) and we see how long it took to appear on another board as an exclusive and gospel truth from "a high up source" at the club, whoever gets the closest scoops the pot, guesses ranged from a week to 20 minutes!! I've gone for two days, I reckon it'll be up there on Friday.

Good plan Proph...make sure you fill us in when it happens.

I must admit i don't even look at that board. Just the fact that AA has "My 7th Book will be on Sale from 18th September "MY STORY"" (My ****ing story!!!) makes me back out of there so quickly my finger doesn't even remember clicking the mouse!

What if he reads this board? He'll know it's a wum.

But there again, he's so high and mighty, a site for real fans is probably beneath him.

Or he may trawl this board to see how far reaching his inflence is.

On the other hand he probably only wants to listen to his sycophantic pals who tell him how wonderful he is.

Just keeping my options open.

Anyway "he" will have to double check every thing he picks up for a while, just to avoid making a bigger pillock of himself than normal, and thats worth a fiver of anyones money ;)

Hope all me old mucka's are doing well?....my works pc has no access to this site,so I have just bought,from Honest Ken at the Portskewett Inn,a laptop thingy (only £50,but the volume is stuck up on high....still...I could'nt turn it down for that price!)
Obviously get the next installment of "Cardiff City own Bristol City" out the way first :(.........again! Hats off to you guys,another pasting for us.
So how are things?....good to see a few familiar names here...Old Sparky,Ayatollah,Bridgend,Brizzle,Proph......all the gang are here.
I post daily on Football Forums as I can access that site,but to be honest,its not that popular.
Good to be back,looking forward to the banter and pee taking again......

Proph - I'm seeing something on Wales online regarding Bellars. There seems to be a rather large hint of "we understand" and "sources say" to it... You wouldn't have any info on this would you? <whistle>
