    This brings back to mind a related story of when my husband obtained temporary work at the Hull GPO delivering Christmas mail in the mid-fifties,being in the 6th form at the time. A vigorous debate was on in the Hull Daily Mail as to whether the seasonal work should be given to students or to the unemployed as the unemployment level in those days was 12-14%.

    The augument for the unemployed was not helped when a sackful of mail was found floating in Holderness Drain and the person involved lost his temporary job.

    The following year my husband got another temporary job with Hull GPO parcel-sorting on the night shift but that is a story for another time!

    Why do Yahoo links have loads of letters in the URL? Do downs syndrome sorts work for Yahoo or summat?
