I've been asked to host a pub quiz at my local wine bar next Thursday ( 25th. )

I can't really be arsed to research 60 odd questions, far too time consuming.

Have any of you faithful Rs got any good quiz questions?

eg. One of my favourites is this one ... How many 8's are there between one and one hundred?

It's a good question because you can see everyones eyes roll in their heads, and then you see the hands go up and start counting fingers.

These kind of questions are much more interesting than say.. What's the Capital of France?

Thanks in advance. ( Life in the suburbs and being middle aged eh? )

State a word has all the vowels in order?

I think there's a couple of correct answers (although only one springs to mind).

Just checked and there's a few archaic or rare ones but two common (ish) ones.

Which Irish county has won the most Gaelic Football All Ireland titles - a. Kerry (36 titles)
Which Irish county has won the most All Ireland Hurling titles - a. Kilkenny (34 titles)
In which city was the Duke of Wellington born - a. Dublin.

    Eight.

The trick questions are always good as well, like there are 8 apples on a table and you take 3 away. How many apples have you got? (The amount of people who say 5 instead of 3 is remarkable)

    999s

Have a novelty round, it's good fun.

Give each team a piece of tinfoil approx 7 inches wide by 7 inches long and give the team 3 minutes to work together and make an animal out of the tinfoil.
It's unbelievable watching the teams work together.
Pick the best result and give them 10 points and then work back to about 6 for the worst.
When you're awarding the points show everybody the tinfoil animals and make a few funny remarks. I have done this before and You'll get a great laugh from everybody.
