    The large Hadron Collider will be live again in January, but at twice the original power that allowed for the discovery of the Higgs Boson. What could they discover this time as the second half of the season begins.................................? <whistle>

    Remind me again how anyone verifies anything done on the LHC considering no one elses has a few billion quid to be going verifying the claims?

    Besides this Higgs thing has been questioned, if it was a Higgs Boson at all

    No, if it goes wrong it just means a few billion quid gets wasted, no biggy.

    My issue with this CERN stuff is no one can independently confirm anything. because they have no LHC, so one party does the experiments and makes claims and no one else can verify s**t.. not how science is supposed to work.

    That's why I laugh when people say it has been verified, no it ****ing hasn't <laugh>
