Having grown up in Devon, the cream and jam are the wrong way round. It should be cream first, jam on top. Damn Cornish!

    My five would be:

    1.Haggis,Neeps and Tatties

    2. Irn-Bru

    3.Scotch Pie

    4.Bridie

    5.Stovies

I can't really choose alcohol as I'm not too fond of whisky and our lagers/ale's aren't great either.

I lived in Livingston until I was nine. Had Haggis for the first time in years a few weeks ago and forgot how good it was.

But Scotch Pie! Oh man, they're ****ing brilliant! With a layer of brown sauce on top!

Work is dead as most people are on leave for Christmas, I'm going to take a 2 hour lunch and head into town to see if any of the supermarkets sell them - bit of a long shot but I can hope. I'd forgot how good they were, now I'm craving one!

Has to be stotties with ham & pease pudding.
Love coming home and eating some stottie for the first time in ages.
Wrote to Greggs a few years back asking if they had plans to sell stottie south of Durham & they said no :(!
After attempting various different recipes online that all made just an equivalent of a giant bap, I've managed to recently buy their recipe in a charity cookbook but haven't yet had a chance to make it.

    Yorkshire Pudding
    Parkin
    Yorkshire Fish Cake
    Black Sheep ale

We don't seem to have much, and what we do have seems to have "Yorkshire" at the start of it. We seem to be quite egotistical <laugh>
