    Pretty terrible stuff.

Seriously dedicated fans going to watch Newcastle's pre-season tour of NZ. A nice statement by the club. RIP

    Shocking News!

Words just can not express what their loved ones must be feeling.

Shocking stuff, I really hope all sides look at this disaster and get back round the table to sort out this clusterfuck asap and Russia needs to back off and let them sort it out without "losing" equipment over the boarder. My thoughts go to everyone involved families, loved ones, the dead and especially the crew and the rest of the Malaysian Air employees who must also be really grieving over these 2 events and wondering if they will even have jobs soon.

Looks like Malaysian Air will go to the wall over these 2 disasters, I don't think the company name can survive this sadly which will cause even more suffering and grief too.

I really hope this was a genuine cock up and I really really hope it wasn't a "russian" weapon that brought it down. I dread to think what could happen should it be proved a Russian weapon system that shouldn't have been in the hands of the Ukraine separatists brought the plane down. If Putin does have his hands in this (and lots seem to think he does) and it is as has been suggested it really scares me what could happen next as it suggest Putin is ready for a fight and as usual Joe Bloggs the honest member of the public out to enjoy himself gets caught up in the middle.

This whole thing is in danger of escalating out of control.

It feels like we're back to 1979 all over again when the Russians invaded Afghanistan!

Well they've got the history for it look at the other fringe former USSR states that Russia has effectively bombed back to the stone age, like Chechnya. Russia is definitely on a land grab

I really think that FIFA should take away the World Cup from Russia and start the bidding process all over again! How can we just stand idly by while they are getting away with what is in effect State Sponsored Terrorism? I know this can be argued that it would just be a token gesture BUT we have to send a strong powerful signal to the Russians that we will not tolerate this interference in the affairs of another Soveriegn state!

Amen to that. It's awful when you look into it. Putin has his 2 terms as president so heads off to the subs bench as PM for a term and installs his buddy as president and between them they change the constitution so Putin can effectively stay in power forever.

    Unbelievable really
