Someone may have already posted on this, in which case I apologise.

Has anyone been to see the poppies at the Tower? I'm going on Tuesday and was wondering how long the queues are. Any info would be appreciated.

Get there before 9.00am is the best advice, if that's not possible you'll face queues that may take an hour or more. You can't see it from the main road going past the Tower because a hoarding screen has been erected to stop the crowd going into the road. They've also put up metal barriers to funnel people past safely on the outside. Traffic in the area has been horrendous for the past couple of weeks because of the number of coaches visiting to drop people off and there's little parking availability close by...

Cheers Sooper. I was planning to get there at about 7am. Travelling by tube to Tower Hill, so no worries about traffic and parking.

It's well worth the visit, went a week or so ago. An amazing sight. Tower Hill tube was very busy though.
    Enjoy the visit.
