Dr Manhattan wasn't really a hero. He was more of an all powerful observer.

The good thing about this movie is there's no real hero that saves the day.

Ozymandias killed many people without thought, including one of the watchmen, but it was his actions that lead to Earth's leaders uniting against Dr Manhattan, and thus bringing world peace.

Dr Manhattan, despite being very powerful, wouldn't have been able to prevent Earth's destruction. He was actually indifferent to the possibility for the most part, up until his girlfriend intervened, managing to spark a little humanity in him.

Ozymandias outsmarted everyone. He made the entire population of earth hate Manhattan, and Manhattan realized that to inform humanity of his innocence would be dooming the planet to nuclear war.

Despite Manhattan being the closest thing to a living God, and having a higher IQ than Ozy, Ozy thought of a plan that defeated Manhattan and also saved earth. Manhattan was the key to earths survival, but only because he was perceived as a threat, not because he had the power to stop nuclear war.

 

Fallout 3 and Skyrim are two of my all time fav games. Its very hard to choose between them - two outstandingly good games.

Super Mario Kart, Super Mario, Zelda, Golden Eye 007, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Splinter Cell, COD4, Tetris, PRO Evo, Sensible Soccer - I have lost so much of my life to various versions of these games and more its unreal. I can't select one.
07. What is your favourite board-game?- Articulate but I have a soft spot for Chess and Backgammon due to hours spent playing the old man
08. If you had a superpower that was an extension of your personality, what would it be?- You know when people say "just imagine them all naked" before you give a speech, I'd like to be able to select which ones, at any time. Basically pervertvision.

I just don't get the hype over Lord of the Rings. They are excruciating to watch. They should have put some light sabres in there or something.

 

Endless bromances, slightly politicized overtones, Orlando Bloom prancing around, men with lank long hair and girly jewellery, some homoerotic and quite possibly genuinely chauvinistic views exhibited to what is essentially a wedding ring (which will doom us all), and camera effects to make people look smaller than they are (unlike Star Wars giving genuine midgets some trade)... What's not to love?!

I went to watch the first one at the flix when it came out (having never read the books) and from the first minute I was in pain. Just utter waffle. I saw the third one at the cinema too and the bloody thing wouldn't end. At least half an hour of people saying goodbye to each other is what I remember. Elfs and goblins and wizards. Goddam awful stuff.
