    Morning all,

As the Masters starts today, has anybody got an interest in or any bets on for it? Personally, I went for Matt Kuchar.

On the advice of the guy in the Mirror, I have backed Bubba Watson to miss the cut at 7-2 and no Hole-in-One at Evens. Apparently there have only been 24 holes-in-one in 77 years.

The no hole-in-one looks a good bet!

I am on Sergio, Bubba and Kuchar all to win with a few outsiders as well each way - Martin Kaymar, Steven Bowditch & Trevor Immelman. It is normally someone who has won it before who wins it. I would love to see Sergio win it and his putting improvement gives him a chance.

edit Kaymer has just birdied the second.

Because Tiger is not playing, the yanks will have to give coverage to other players.

But even in the British open, we worry far more about f'king Tiger ****er woods than our own British players.
    Puts me off watching it

Ah at last the official start of spring.....no more putting on the wet weather gear to walk around up to your ankles in mud, no more electric trolleys doing wheel spins, the sod under foot beginning to firm up, fairways looking lush, greens quickening up, longer evenings to play 9 holes.........and The Masters. What's not to like?

Sneaky suspician that Stensen will do well this week.....

If Rory has his 'A' game he'll walk it. Dustin Johnson and Jason Day are good each-way bets...

Jason Day or Rory, just as long as its not Adam Scott and his bloody long putter, as im typing this he's dumped his tee shot in the water at the 12th lets see him hole it from there

Let's see if he learns to use a proper putter when the broom handle goes. I'm thinking he'll sink like a stone!

Hubba Bubba's won it! Good luck to him but I just can't take 'all the buttons done up' ........ on his polo shirt. It just does not look right but he can hit a ball though.

Well done Bubba, but tournament severely compromised by absence of Woods and non firing of Mickleson and McIlroy. Don't necessarily want any of these to win but love the last day charges. As it was, Jiminez was the only player I was interested in with a shout.
