Lots of negatives been discussed on here this year, from bad drivers, islamic extremism, racism, things you hate, Mark Lawrenson and so on.

Since it's Xmas time, let's try perk the place up with some positives.

    Things I'm looking forward to:

Getting home on my last working day of the year, turning off the alarm on my phone for the morning and cracking open a brewski, I've got a few cans in the fridge and about 10 hours of stuff I've recorded on the planner.

It's a Wonderful Life, I love the film, can't get my Mrs to watch it cos it's black and white <doh>

The Queen's Speech, rumour has it she's abdicating this year, millions of £££'s have been placed, forcing bookies to suspend betting. Will we have a King in 2015? His wife, Kate, sort, about time we had a bit of eye candy in our Monarchy, stick her on the back of a £50 note in a corset and suspenders and I'll be as patriotic as they get.

So what you lot looking forward to over xmas? What's to come in 2015 for you lot? any kids on the way or weddings?

Let me take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and I hope you all have a brilliant 2015, top bunch you lot <ok>

Sorry but I'm not for the "Kate on a £50" thing - mainly because I only ever get fivers and tenners so stick her on one of them and I'm up for it!

Merry Christmas Terry - I'm on wind down now as I finish at 1:30 today to go and watch my 2 kids sing in the church with their school (proud dad moment - there will probably be tears and I'm not afraid to admit to it!) then that's it for me until 5th January 2015.

I'm simply looking forward to spending a lovely Christmas with my family. I love my wife and kids very much (also not afraid to admit it) - although i am punching above my weight with the wife (she's 10 years younger than me and very pretty and lovely figure - hence why I'm an optimist!!.) Spend Christmas day at my parents for dinner and festive games (usually rapidough or pictionary or similar) and a few beers at my mates on boxing day after the match and then New Years Eve gig in Billingham. All good in my book. looking forward to a great year in 2015

Same back to yourself terry -there are some arseholes on this site from other clubs but I have loads of time and respect for you and would welcome buying you a beer if you were ever at one of my gigs.

Allthe best to all on Not606 - including the GC lot and the fans I don;t like - this is the time for forgiving. Until after the derby anyhow!!

That's a bloody good point actually mate, what was I thinking?

Not finishing until the 23rd, so not time to relax and unwind just yet but looking forward to it.

Gonna get stuck into the Darts on Sky, that's always decent over Xmas, the Mrs has all kinds of plans for her and her mates, which suits me down to the ground.

Cheers Marcus, have a good one pal.

Surely, if the Queen throws in the towel, it'll be Camilla, with corset and suspenders, on the back of the £50 note??? Poor Charles gets overlooked again!!!!

Staropramen, yes mate, love that stuff.

I guess you don't consider it work though do ya, Diddles? Doing what you love to do.

My Mrs doesn't have wonderful cooking unfortunately, she's fairly limited in the kitchen but on the plus side, it's 2-4-1 on Pot Noodles at Asda.

Was a busy one for me but had 4 gigs pulled this week so a little gutted! Still playing in Sunderland tomorrow night though if anyone's around!

Only working Tomorrow, Sun 28th and New Year! No other gigs as tonight, Sunday, Christmas eve and 27th have all been pulled. Needless to say I'm a little skint due to this (and having just bought a new(ish) car last week!)

Last shift at work today, so will be joining Terry in cracking open a can as soon as I walk through the door. Merry Christmas to all the posters on here, whatever your football persuasion! Feel like I can say that before the derby game, afterwards on the other hand...

Anybody into any of the non-mainstream sports? I fancy getting into (just watching mainly) something new. I watched a couple of the NFL games and although I had no idea what was going on, I quite enjoyed it.

The yanks are mad for baseball but I don't get the hype, rounders in a big stadium, am I missing something?

I think I might like Rugby league.

Lost me dad in March, so mum's off to spend Xmas with my sister in the USA. The wife's family are occupied with the usual civil war so yours truly here has absolutely no plans at all this year. That means El Sid doing what he wants, when he wants, with whom he wants. For a fecking change! I shall mostly be being pissed this year, methinks :)

Have a good one, anyone going off for the holiday period. I work until Tuesday night and shall start imbibing then.

Get this lad playing - a 100m sprinter who took up rugby:

Have to be honest - a small part of me was disappointed as I thought he was going to get destroyed!!
