The new James Bond film is coming out soon and was just wondering who you think is the best one.
I would have gone for Sean Connery at one time but I'm going for Daniel Craig. Having watched him in other films, this guy can act and is yes very good looking.

    Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnan

Worst is Timothy Dalton or George Lazenby. ;)

I actually think my ranking would be....

    Connery
    Craig
    Dalton
    Moore
    Brosnan
    Lazenby

Dalton was top drawer IMHO as he was a bit more 'moody' that Rog.

Thanks ACS I do have my moments.
Moore did bring humour to Bond.

Think Craig makes a lot of films that make you think.

Didn't think a great deal of Connery as an actor before Bond, but thought he was the best one followed by Moore.

Connery and Brosnan are my favourites, and at the risk of being erased from life by LE, Craig is the worst.

I used to think he was moody and edgy, until I saw him in interviews and realised he was just a boring (and seemingly quite dense) plank... To be honest, I'm not a fan of the new direction of Bond at all because I enjoy the classics. Basically, I assume they've seen Bourne smashing the box office and thought "mmm, we'll just do that"... They've changed the genre in some fantasy attempt at competition, but Bourne would not only kill James Bond, he'd cut off his balls so that nobody could identify his face <whistle>

Bond was ludicrous, charming, funny, witty and cavalier, all things an Englishman could be proud to aspire to (even if the actors were not). Now we've just got some weathered blonde bombshell with pecks only disgraced by Tiote...

I think that Bourne has made the writers and directors of Bond pull their socks up.
I wonder how Bourne goes without Matt Damon.

I watched Goldeneye (the 1st 1 i watched) after playing it for the N64 and it happened to be my fave game at the time and since then i've thought Goldeneye was the best film and Brosnan was the best bond! Not many people will agree with me though!
