After 3 months of redundancy-enforced laziness, tomorrow sees me back in a tie and shiny shoes. Need to get up early again, and concentrate! Still, be good to get off Jobseekers and actually earn my money again...
Best of luck. Follow the lead from the QPR workers and you will be fine. Good work ethic and good attitude.
Well done Willy, I had six months off last year following redundancy, the leisure is nice at first but it soon wears thin. I have just changed employers after my summer holiday and start Wednesday, really looking forward to it. All the best in yours...
Good luck Willy. Don't take no **** though. If they try to make you do something you don't want to do, tell 'em to poke their job.
Best of luck Willy in your new job - after 25 years in an IT civil service postion, the thought of a different job, turning 60 this year, would be a bit scary for me. I have a bunch of 25 something IT wiz kid pups working with me and they likely think I'm just an old codger (fart) who should be retired, which is a bit hard when you are loaded in debt, with five kids (12 - 20).
