Now don't anyone get touchy about this, it's a bit of fun.

North of the wear or south, which is best?

Obviously, i'm gonna say North, (coming from Fulwell) the SOL, the beaches (cough, cough) the air show etc etc. Downside, it's a tad closer to them ****ing scum in NE1.

The south side has what? a ****ing shambles of a city centre, which did at one time host the best pubs i've ever come across.

    ...................................................

I know there are many people from outside of the area, so their opinions, being non biased would be appreciated.

Disclaimer....not been there for a while, things may have changed, but i doubt it.

Going back 30 years but the South for me!

The Chesters, Rosedene, Barnes, The Royalty, Dun Cow, Black Bull, The Londonderry, Brewery Tap. What was the nightclub in Park Lane - The Fusion?)

Correct i think, it was Fusion, but i'm not going back 30 years man.

I already agreed the south side, well the town had some of the best pubs, not them all, but most.

But what else does the south side have to offer?

County Durham is the greatest county on earth. Durham is the greatest city on earth. Chester le Street the greatest town.

Both on the banks of the worlds greatest river which houses the worlds greatest football club.

I'm blessed and proud to be a part of all 5.:emoticon-0103-cool:

I've never lived in Sunderland but do stay there regularly.
If I did decide to move there I'd look for a place near the New Derby.
Very nice area. Would suit me just fine.

North, obviously, not even a contest.

This from a man that has SR6 incorporated into a tattoo like so I'm clearly quite proud of my roots...
