Right, I've had enough of this prick, I've got a nifty (Aus) and my mate barry will kill the twat for the price of a return ticket Brizzie/LHR and 500 on top. We need about fifty of us at 30 quid each and its sorted. Me, baz and matt worked it out down the pub. takers?
Probably not the best thing to post on a public forum even though you are only joking. It doesnt matter, just look at the rest of the 25 voting team and youll see they come from football hotbeds like guatamala, bahrain and barbados. The next one will be just as bad. FIFA needs to be taken down, not just blatter.
I did have a quick think on a wider scale, but in terms of arrogant money-grabbing tossers, who continually say the most outrageous horseshit, that for any other person/job, they would get the immediate sack. Not to mention the bungs, someone mention Berlusconi ?? But wouldn't want the mafia on the tail of our Auzzie Crusaders for the rest of the natural born days ??
Bono has to be up there in terms of Grade 'A' knobheads. They say the difference between God and Bono is that you never see God strutting down O'Connell Street believing he's Bono...
Glad you've started this thread and love the title but I cannot condone a hit on Blatter. However, the sheer stupidity of this situation beggers belief. It is transparently corrupt up to the very top and we, the fans, ought to find some way to exert 'fan power' to get rid of these people (but not by assassination!!).
No need to get criminal deal with Blatter and his ilk. Just make sure they have to stay in the same conditions as the cheapest economy fans in Qatar. They won't last 36 hours.
Watch the south park episode on bono, its hilarious. It goes into detail why he has to be #1 at everything.
It doesnt matter, there are dozens of old men just as corrupt waiting in the wings, the only option is a breakaway from FIFA. Ill never know how we let the control of a sport we invented get into the hands of a bunch of criminals.
Agree. Tragic. It would need a wealthy backer, passionate about football with effectively bottomless pockets. Are you there Lakshmi? Think of the long term return!
His successor Platini is up to his neck in this as well, his son works for the Qataris and after all his blustering over Financial Fair Play two of the biggest transgressors (who he has remained very quiet about) are PSG and Monaco, just a couple of little French clubs no less, backed by Qatari billions...
The guys a jerk but two wrongs don't make a right ........................ he'll fall by his own doing. In the end, time catches up with all.
sounds like Queenslander has hack your sight Farflung. if you don't make it back can i have your transit
Im in farflung, ill drop my nifty over tonight.... Get the barbie on mate its swealtering and I'll bring some (more) beer
True, a tad harsh, but Blatter keeps paying off the people who vote for him, those people get extra FIFA funding. You could call it "bung for bung" - "fan power" doesn't stand a chance
