Thought he was a lot older than that. I remember when I was a kid thinking he looked and sounded as if he was on deaths door. He knew his stuff though and I enjoyed watching his programme, found it very entertaining. There'll be another star in the sky tonight.

    RIP Sir Patrick Moore.

Did wonders for the Xylophone too, a real character and so passionate about Astronomy, sad he has passed.

I remember him playing the Xylophone with great gusto.

Me too ACS I think he brought Astronomy to a lot of kids.

Top bloke. Not only did he popularise astronomy, he let his feelings be made known against the huntin' shootin' fishin' brigade. He will be sadly missed.

Only if it was aimed at the Krauts. Think that was something to do with his fiancé getting killed by a bomb. He stayed single ever since. So yeah he did but there was alot of pain hidden there. Albert Einstein the Kraut was his mate.

Yes, his Fiancée's Ambulance was hit by a German bomb in 1943. Pretty sure that happening to any of us would sour us against the people who dropped it.

And he was friends with Einstein, and once accompanied him on Piano whilst Einstein played violin.

That's true Pulp. If it wasn't for Sir Patrick I wouldn't have clocked any Nintendo games back in the day.

Just a month for the time being, but if he comes back and hasn't changed his tune he'll be going for a longer one.
