I realise I'm a bit late to the party, but this radio show is excellent. Beastie Boys tribute today, plus loads of other great tunes. Exactly why I love music, it revives your spirits, particularly at the moment....
Aye Huey's great, good voice for radio and he's seamlessly cool which I envy. Very good and eclectic taste in music, I've picked up a couple of good bands from him.
Radio 6 is awesome. It is a shame that the BBC want to shut it down. More people should listen to it instead of ****ty radio 1.
Er - no! The Beeb wanted to shut it down , but listeners rebelled against it and it was kept on... [Edit: Agree with you about R1 though!!!]
I once met someone who claimed that he met Huey a few years back whilst he was stoned. In his condition, he got the munchies and ate an array of chicken wings and stuff that were just there. It turned out it was Huey's lunch, and he was pissed off about it. He proceeded to actually fill this kid in. I don't know this kid very well, and as I was speaking to him, I decided he was a tool. So I'm glad he got a kicking. I don't know where or when this happened. So if anyone ever wondered - Huey can fight.
