How many streets (roads/avenues/etc) can you name - in Hull - that have no houses numbered in them? I can think of two, but I reckon there'll be more.
there must be loads in the industrialised areas, such as freightliner road, and in town. clive sullivan way. ferensway? george st? how are brighton st and english st for abodes these days?
Yep - I put it badly! I meant in residential areas. Those I know of are: Chatsworth Street - runs from Welbeck St. to Blenheim St; and Brandesburton St. - runs from Spring Bank West to Sunnybank. Both have names, but no houses fronting on them, as they are mere 'access' streets.
I'd guess some of the bigger roads on OPE and Bransholme don't have houses on, as the addresses tend to be Danes, Garth's etc.
I was thinking of Dane Park Rd and Thorpe Park Rd, but it looks like some houses have that as an address. Not sure about things like Grampian Way, Raich Carter Way, Thomas Clarkson Way etc.
There are loads, Sutton Park, Bransholme, OPE all have roads or avenues or ways with no house numbers. I presume Kingswood and all its extentions are the same. There must be more in the new developements in East and West of the city.
