Do the rules not apply to police officers?
This was outside Sheringham primary school, the road had plenty of parking spaces and they were not on an emergency call.

I've tweeted it to Norfolk Police for a laugh too but seriously those zig zaps are there for a reason no? And it's also blocking the pavement.

No, I'm afraid Rich, I'm pretty sure the rules don't apply to them.

It makes sense a lot of the time (e.g. speeding to get to an emergency situation) but I agree here it's ridiculous and an abuse of their power when it appears they could easily have parked legitimately nearby. Presumably just laziness.
