If doctors etc got paid footballers wages of 200,000 per week there would be a massive shortage in doctors. If I was paid that money I would work for a few years then retire, it just wouldn't work.
I'm not saying they should be paid equally, just highlighting a common opinion as to why people resent the amount of money footballers are paid.
I know what you mean it doesn't seem fair but now we've come full circle and back to 'but why pick on footballers'
You tend to find the ones doing the complaining are lefties who also complain about the rich elite. You would think that they would be happy an average working class lad from a council estate can get into a position where he's earning more than some ex Harrow educated tory toff but no theres just no pleasing some!
Trust me, watch it again. It's the gayest film Ive ever seen. And Ive seen Winston Does San Francisco. I havent really.
Its been twenny minutes bet you've googled it by now!! Any film with Tiny Tom is a homo film cos he's a ..... Factamundo
Have you seen the South Park episode when for the whole duration Tom Cruise refuses to literally come out of the closet? Genius.
Nope and nope. Won't google it now out of principle and as for TC's films all being gay? Ridiculous notion. I take it you've never seen Forest Gump? He won an Oscar for his role as the wheelchair bloke. Great film.
You sure it wasn't Tom Cruise himself The episode where he's trapped in the closet and they get R Kelly to try get him out is funny as ****.
But it isn't what they do, it's how good they are at doing it. Anyone could play professional football but only an amazingly talented minority can do it at professional level. If you're that brilliant at doing your job in other industries you'll get obscene money too. The same goes for actors and musicians etc but as the OP said, no one moans about them. Agreed. The agents serve no obvious purpose, especially to clubs who for some reason pay their fees. Simple supply and demand. Football is harder to be good enough at to play professionally than it is to become a doctor.
