Just watched this, probably been on here before but should be of interest to some of the historians among us.

I'd have a guess at Sculcoates Cemetery being one of the sites depicted.

    Good link that.
Slightly off topic...I may be imagining it, but I seem to remember a postcard that was completely black...with the single white caption " Scarborough at Night". Must have been some sod from Blackpool who conjured up that idea ! Anyone recall it, or is it just a pigment of my imagination ?

Yes it has as I commented on the parked J H Fenner van. I lived about 5 mins walk away from their factory (where one of my uncles worked) and their massive Sports ground opposite. Played rugby league for them for half a season before switching to union. I went to a job interview there ( Reckitts and Smith/ Nephew too) before leaving Hull for Lancaster for my first job. In my memory I have a vague recollection of Yorkshire playing a 1 day charity match at the sports ground as Jimmy Binks previously worked at Fenners.

Enjoyed the drive round again though!

Some great nostalgia stuff Stanley I love it makes the old memory cells spring to life the vid and facebook stuff are both magic. Incidentally what surprised me in the vid was the level of traffic I didn't realise it was so heavy back in those days but the amount of British Leyland cars around was also surprising. Cheers Stanley. :emoticon-0148-yes:
