OT - Paradox Nightclub

Seeing as some of you are from Liverpool anyone got any old Radio City rips from back in the Paradox days?

Did they do broadcasts from the Sunrise/051 aswell?

 

In answer to your first....no...I probably did have but my dog chewed tapes for fun as did my previous motors

Doubt Dave will even know where these places were and if he did he probably hated them with him being in his late 80's.

 

Paradox in Old Roan was Alinsons and before that was the Vernon's Pools offices, the 051 mount Pleasant was originally Hoffenbraus Bier Keller.

And i'm not even 79.

But what was the Hoffenbraus Bier Keller before it was a bier keller?

But as usual UIR doesn't know his arse from his elbow. Not my favourite places and not my style of music but I knew about them. But then he probably doesn't think I would even have heard of The Twisted Wheel or The Hacienda

 

A building site.

It was new build with a cinema complex upstairs, the Bier Keller downstairs and a boozer at street level.

 

More correctly a bomb site - God knows what it was before the War!

what was the club on the front in bootle called, I think it was on primrose road but only have hazy drunken memories of it.

 

I've been to many 'places of entertainment' in many parts of the world of which I only have hazy drunken memories so a club in Bootle has little chance of being recalled.

 

I remember when the 051 was first built and was a cinema and I'm only 45!
