What an incredible programme, I've been in some hairy situations, but I've never got close to anything like that. Outstanding what those lads do, absolutely outstanding.
I study a lot of military history and it puts everything into perspective really, just wish I could have stories out of my grandad re WW2 but he quite rightly never talked about it- he wasn't a writer so have to go by history books to see where he was (Normandy, Dunkirk). Kids today are so ignorant re- a lot of this kind of stuff, was pleased to see the likes of Joe Hart, Rooney and Gerrard visit Auschwitz during the Euros. Didn't see the programme tonight will have to look it up.
