Congrats Igor, I watch most sports and love ice hockey even thoug I know absolutely f all about it. I fleetingly watch the Stanley cup & have seen the New York rangers play. I have no idea if they are any good or not. I used to play roller hockey before my team progressed on to Ice hockey (at Bracknell) and I know the skill involved in the game. not just a bunch of Scandinavians fighting on the ice. have to say, the opposition didn't look like an easy walk over .. He told me about this a week ago, I think hes finally sobered up enough to post! Enjoy it Igor, Ive had a life time of disappointment following the Flyers, 0-4 in the finals. A bit like QPR, theyve lost every final in my lifetime too.
Thank you mates. It has been a hard week behind me with all the celebration. Last saturday there were almost 30.000 people on the Citys market square celebrating our team in the championship jubilation. Its a lot of peoples considering that population of our city is about 83000. There was great atmosphere as it was in the match too if you noticed.
It hasnt been all glory with ÃSSäT either previously. Last championship was , as i said in the 1978. After that there has been four times a final series which we have lost all.... So it was the time to win.

Lindros was really a tough player but that was in the end his destiny. That reminds me i have a flyers cap but where the hell i did got that....

Yes hope so. If it works lets just swap hats every season. Mind you Hextall was one of my favourites too but how about Antti Raanta (champion goalkeeper in ässät). He just played his first international match for finland in the icehockey world championship. No suprises there 2-0 victory over slovakia. Raanta was the man of the match. Now the question goes: Which NHL-team gets Raanta.....? Flyers ?
Queens, the season is over for the Flyers and it starts in October. The games start at midnight here which means midday for you so it must be nice to see some games at a reasonable hour. My hope is that Bryz is bought out and we go with Mason and one other, it would be good to get your guy but sometimes they done make the transition to the small ice.
