Is Morrissey mates with QPR striker Kevin Gallen? An old story from 2005:- please log in to view this image Incredibly, Harry, the Mancunian miserablist is an acquaintance of the Rangers forward. According to a recent article in the League Paper, Morrissey met Gallen in Los Angeles in June - he was recording new album Ringleader Of The Tormentors, while the striker was in the city on holiday. Subsequently the pair became "email friends"; Gallen even sent Morrissey a personalised kit with 'Mozalini 10' on the back, which can be seen here. "I've invited him to see a game when he's next back in England," said Gallen, himself the owner of Rangers' No10 shirt. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2005/dec/07/theknowledge.sport This story is true - it originates from an interview Kevin did on BBC Radio London with Sports presenter (and former editor of Q magazine) Danny Kelly last week - As Kevin told it he & some mates met Moz (with Jesse & the Rock) in a pub on Sunset (the Cat & Fiddle?) and struck up a friendship that has continued via email - they were invited to Rome, but couldn't go & so sent the aforementioned QPR shirt........ please log in to view this image http://www.morrissey-solo.com/article.pl?sid=05/12/07/1710243 I wonder if he also has this one as I believe Joey's a fan? please log in to view this image On the subject of shirts, I wonder how this lovely lady would look in one? So Morrissey and Gallen are mates, eh? What difference does it make? If I started something I couldn't finish and the joke isn't funny anymore, don't panic.
Perhaps not since he met Joey? Joey Barton Meets Morrissey and Tweets Pictorial Evidence please log in to view this image Joey Barton is using Twitter to good effect. The Social Networking site has helped dispel some myths about the Newcastle United man and perhaps the once tempestuous young man has matured and become a better person? On the field of play one winced every time he lost possession because such an act would usually result in the terrier chasing down an opponent before scything them down petulantly. That dark side appears to have vanished and he has used Twitter as a good tool to communicate his thoughts to the masses, it also helped him meet one of his idols, Morrissey, as this photo attests. You can follow Joey on Twitter by keeping an eye on his account @Joey7Barton http://www.caughtoffside.com/2011/06/25/joey-barton-meets-morrissey-and-tweets-pictorial-evidence/
As far as QPR getting promotion to the Premier League, Morrissey: please, please, please, let me, let me, let me...let me get what I want this time!
