Saw it last night and thought it was awesome. The opening segment on Krypton is incredible and could have been a movie all on its own. The origin story is craftily weaved in and the action is breathtaking and I loved the plot. A perfectly cast film I would also add. Go see it
Unfortunately gotta wait another 2 weeks for it to come out here. I cannot wait though. Is it better than any of the The Dark Knight movies?
Going Monday mate, hated the Christopher Reeve ones (the only one on the planet apparently) so hoping this one is better.
Gonna go this weekend at some point, never fancied it but the few people I've heard reviews from have totally sold it to me (not hard, I like films, good or bad!)
Going this afternoon to the IMAX . Always been a big fan of Superman since my dad took me to see the first Christopher Reeve one. It was the first film I saw at the cinema. Can't wait.
A little hard to compare cos this borders on a science fiction film. There were elements of Star Wars and a nod to the matrix imo. I would confidently say that its better than the Dark Knight Rises though.
Was the first film I saw at the cinema too,but with my uncle, the Abc top of holmeside, the queue was massive to get in, back in the good old days when u couldnt prebook ya ticket.remember coming out thinking I could jump down the flights of stairs, nearly broke my neck lol. Havent seen the new one yet. But did go see the purge last night which was excellent
would love to see it, unfortunately the next scheduled trip to the flix for us is for despicable me 2 trailer looks class
Just note about the 3 legends last night (if anyone listens now, on 103 fm star radio) it was very funny, and the woman talking about " a bloke having trouble with his plums, and he got a plum charmer in " was brilliant. I have taped the 3 voices but have no idea who they are!, I thought the 3rd one was pardew.
Queued for hours with my dad to see the original at the ABC in holmeside only to have the doors closed in our faces. So ran down to the Fairworld cinema and saw Popeye!!
Big claim that cos I loved TDKR but the trailers do suggest it's up there. Hoping to see it at the Imax next week.
Just watched it, it's a bloody good film, not as good as The Dark Knight Rises though, but Christopher Nolan's participation is clear to see.
