Would be fun to frame a poster of a Francisco Goya painting and take it to an insurer for a quote.

Bastards tried to raise my insurance payments this year even though I've never had an accident in 17 years and I've been with the same company for 10+ years.

Threatened to change my provider and they knocked £70 off my total from last year to retain me but told me it was a one off whilst I giggled.

£295 per year for a Renault Espace

    Car insurance boils my p*ss.

Because I'm a professional sportsman I get put in the same insurance bracket as pro footballers, actors, entertainers etc. As I've got considerably older the premiums have come down, however it's completely disproportionate to other people my age.

That said I do have 8 convictions for drink driving and currently also have 45 points on my licence for speeding......only joking.

Bunch of robbing bastards, all of them.

what makes me laugh is my sports bike (1000cc) costs me £125 a year whilst my wifes 1.1 micra is nearly £500 even though the bike is insured for more, plus having the same number of years no claims.how the **** do they work that out.

I got a quote in this year at just over £500,done a price comparison at moneysupermarket and the cheapest company to come up was my current provider at £269. I phoned them up and told them of my findings and they said they could pricematch themsleves???

When I said why did you not just give me that price in the 1st place they admitted that they chance there luck with a higher price and see if people are willing to try and knock them down. They are all ****ing crooks!!

<laugh><laugh>....They keep on sending me stuff but pride makes me rip it up and chuck it in the bin. Actually I did contact them once about car insurance and they were more expensive than anyone else.

I used to work at an insurance brokerage and I used to spend quiet time getting quotes as an 18 year old with 0NCB. Cheapest I got was £1300 for a Corsa! Point blank refusal on anything sporty.

Mate of mine gave the details of a Porsche he found parked outside an insurance office to see what quote he would get if he owned one just the same.

He was speaking to the guy who owned it...
