I've never been into rugby at all. Don't get it - they can't even get the ball the right shape! But that last minute kick against Australia in a World Cup Final has to go down as one of the great moments in any sport. I reckon he'll be remembered forever for that one, and deservedly so. Best wishes to him for the future.
I'm into the rugby union internationals, and watching one of my lads who plays for Ashbrooke, but football always takes priority.
He was the best player in the world for quite a while, the Messi of the rugby world to be honest. He was hard as nails but did not look it. The reason for all his injuries was how hard he used to tackle even the biggest players. He will always be remembered for his kicking but his tackling was just as big a part of why he was such a good player.
