They seem to be getting big names with the likes of Example, Pro Green, Tim Burgess and now these two. But I've heard bad things about the staffing and drink prices and the fact it miles out the way now.
I think that's just Hull people's typical cynicism of anything new or different. I had a decent time there when I went one Friday night. Personally I don't mind places that are a little more expensive anyway, it's the price you pay for keeping the riff raff out.

I doubt there's many on here who'll get that. I was going to post the other line, but I suspect it'll cause more trouble than it's worth.
I didn't think it was too bad, when I went bottles were all £1.50 and we got in for free. The DJ was an arse and was a bit overexcited with the mixing, but other than that it was alright.
Ha! they've had more line ups than City have in their whole 108 year history. And another thing **** face, didn't the naughty n word cost them a record deal at some point?
Gutted that I'm going to miss Ian McCulloch and Ian Broudie all on the same night. Instead I'm going to see Tame Impala in Sheffield.
It's on a street with nothing but bars doing shots for £1.00, in an area full of students, it's not really comparable with Anlaby Road.
On the other hand its right next to the transport interchange so the last thing it is is 'out of the way'
