    Two years in renovating then a 3 year gap from when my son was born. Finally a 1962 "Brilliant" Hetchins rides again (last seen in green on the streets of Hull in 1999).

    I think Reynolds 531 goes back many more decades too.

    I couldn't believe I'd left it so long to put the bike together.

    I had a lovely cycle out in the sunny weather today. I was zipped passed by a proper cyclist on their super lightweight modern machine.
