Horse meat has been found in Tesco's beef burgers (value and others). That's neigh good, no wonder I've had the trotts!
I did wonder why the self-service checkout kept telling me there was an unexpected item in the bagging area. Low in fat but high in Shergar. Seriously though, my friend is still in hospital after having a burger from Tesco. Thankfully he is in a stable condition - just a bad case of the trots.
Yea I've never eaten horse meat, but probably would try it if i was abroad and it was available. I don't see whats wrong with certain meat types when we all tuck into pigs, cows, chickens etc etc at will. I think the fuss is more the 'false advertising' type angle, rather than it actually being horse meat. Although gee gee lovers will be up in arms of course.
Hope so, it's the mane reason I come on here. Just checked my burgers in the fridge....... and they're off!
It has always made me wonder why people here are so outraged by people eating Horse meat when they themselves are happy to chomp away on pigs, who I'm led to believe, are by far the more intelligent animal.
