I watched about 5 episodes of the first series and wrote it off, the hype around it was immense so I tried it but it wasn't for me surprisingly considering I come from an Intel background. I like Damien Lewis though, I thought he did a great job in Band Of Brothers.

Not sure where you saw up to mate, I've just watched the final episode ( I think) S4 - Ep10, love the show and can't wait for the next instalment, whether that's episode 11 or next seasons.

This except I'm afraid it was about 10 minutes into the first. Just could not get into it. Met him recently while he was dropping his kids off at school or something in London. Seemed a nice, down to earth chap.

Stuff I'd recommend at the moment... The Missing (James Nesbitt's best role since Murphy's law) a bit convoluted as they've decided to go with several timelines to tell the story.

The Fall (Gillian Anderson, fit) dark but good, set in NI following the chase for a rapist/killer.

Remember Me, 3 parter, a bit too yorkshire for me but unbelievably well acted and shot.

All BBC productions which is encouraging for the TV/Film industry in the country.

I keep hearing/reading good things about that one.

I'm so far behind on TV box sets that I feel like a old fart on his wind up radio trying to figure out how to get into the app store.

It's decent mate but I get the feeling it's basically True detective and the Maddy McCann story all mixed into one. Well worth a watch mind.

I watched the first episode by the way, well I tried to, looked right up my street, but she kept chatting to me and I got confused with the timelines so I ****ed it off til I get chance to watch it in peace.

I can understand that mate, it's hard to follow at the best of times. Worth it mind.

If you haven't watched true detective yet I'll be encouraging my infant manc nephew to follow the blue side of manchester.

The last episode finished with the prisoners exchange and the cars carrying Saul and Carrie etc being blown up and the terrorists breaking into the CIA building. Fantastic episode..

No way Jose, she's m'lady I treat my woman like a princess.

She sometimes chats when United are on Sky, you know when I'm out of Chloroform but I usually just drown out her noise.

That's what I meant! I've watched the first one. Gonna watch it again though, soon as she's out with the girls, there's loads of stuff planned for her so should be able to watch it soon. <ok>

Ahhhhh! Got you. Nice. Mate it's basically the best film ever made and 8 hours long.

That's the upside of my missus living in Australia... I can watch what the **** I want.

Pretty obvious downside to that mind.
