    Hi

Interesting table of who are the biggest teams in England. Sunderland are a creditable 10th but the method of calculating the positions leaves a lot to be desired. For example, the winner of the top division gets 10 points, the runner up nothing, the winner of the fa cup 6 and the runner up 4!! So if you spent the last 100 years finishing 2nd in the premier league you could in fact be below Wimbledon with 1 fa cup win!

So does this mean the English clubs aren't as big as the Scottish ones?

If it's about attendence then Burnley would be up there. And of course Scottish football is the best in the world, with the biggest teams and the most glamorous stars. I'd love to be able to sit in with 60,000 others and watch Anthony Stokes every week. ;)

English teams don't compete for the SPL either. Does this also mean they aren't as big?

If you go of championships and f.a cups no way are Newcastle 200 points ahead of us? We've won the league more and at 6 points a cup win that would suggest they had won the cup 40 times more than us????
