You could try Bonjela ? But to be on the safe side, I'd go to the Dentist.

Is it the inside of your cheek or the gum area?

Don't look on the Internet to see what the problem might be.

Every time I do that I manage to convince myself I've get about three weeks to live.

Might just be some type of infection but if you're worried get yourself down the quacks tomorrow.

I had to whip me bolly bag out in front of my doctor a few weeks ago due to having concerns. A bit embarrassing but at least I've got peace of mind now.

Bit too much info do you think?

This is so true its not funny.

Try boiling some water, put some in a cup, teaspoon of salt, gargle around affected area, spit out.

Erm wait for the water to cool down a bit too...

If its a tooth your jaw will hurt like fook, can usually tell if its gums/abscess/infection. Could also sometimes try chemist, they know more than you realise. If its still painful tomorrow, go see a dentist.

Get yourself some corsodyl mouthwash. It's an anaesthetic and antiseptic. Good for infections and promoting healing. And just in case it's oral thrush, it's got that covered too ;)

Anything like that you need to get checked out, stuff like abcesses are more serious than you think.

I'd always check with prescriptions. If it's prescription only meds then yeah you have to stump up the £7.65. But often you can buy what your prescribed over the counter for less than the charge.

Suspect its probably antibiotics tbh, but you weren't robbed, in the long run that will work out cheaper than not going honestly.

Now, stop looking so down in the mouth!

Aye, unless you live in Spain where you can buy antibiotics over the counter. I was once acquainted to a bloke who spent some time living in Spain. His idea of safe sex was a dose of Azithromycin the next day.
