Old(ish) news. Someone posted a thread saying he's back a week ago I think. Fair enough that you didnt see it. It was always going to happen, let's be honest.
I knew it, they wouldn't kill off one of the main characters. The biggest animated character they killed off in my lifetime was Maude Flanders. And I suppose, by proxy, Edna Krabappel.
The character's still alive isn't he? Isaac Hayes died but didn't they just get someone else? Cartman's voice changed a few seasons ago too. Mind you I haven't seen the really recent ones so is Chef actually dead?
Yes, the actual Chef... Isaac Hayes left the show because of all the Scientology stuff, so they killed him off in the first episode after he left.
Huh. I knew he fell out with them eventually but I just assumed they replaced him? I suppose that voice would have been pretty hard to replace though. His parents were my favourite characters too. I've definitely seen episodes from since 2006 but just never noticed the lack of Chef.
Ah how could I forget about Chef? Especially considering the way he died was hilarious. Nah, they wrote him out of the show when he died. Cartman's voice did change, but it's still Trey Parker that does it.
This loyaltigerbrian chap, he's a bit of a legend on here isn't he. Iv'e never read any of his stuff, why is he so revered, and what happened to him ? I take it he was on the BBC606 ?
I hadn't realised chef had died either. Hopefully his parents still get a few apps... Tree fitty god dammit!
Yes, but I think he did post once or twice on here but he was only given the respect he deserved. He was Tony Warner's biggest fan.
