They were so bad tonight and at weekend. When you think of the great Arsenal sides in the last 15 years or so !
It astonishes me how everyone can't comprehend Man City's poor CL form. Erm, why do you think Mancini was sacked despite delivering consecutive Serie A titles for Internazionale?
Not necessarily, if they really turn it on now and win the next 3, and Madrid beat Dortmund, all of which is realistic, they're through. And that's the hardest way for them to do it.
They got one point from the first nine, even if they get nine from the next nine, it might well not be enough. They're out already, even Mancini has given up.
If they take the next 9 points, so long as Madrid beat Dortmund theyre theogh, or if Dortmund beat Madrid, they're most likely through, as long as they beat Madrid by 2 goals or the score is 2-1 or 1-0. Wishful thinking, I don't think they'll win all 3 but they definitely hav a strong enough squad to give it a proper go.
mancini tried what brucie did vs ipswich and threw on all the strikers... he didn't know what formation he was playing.. it worked for us but not for citeh.. what do u read into that?
it's not like the old days when ONE english club represented england abroad.. I was pleased for Ajax tonight... I remember the days of norwich vs bayern in the uefa cup being massive for english football.. even united vs bayern 1999 was quite something.. but since liverpool's epic comeback in 2005 I haven't really bothered.. although spurs' brief flurry last season was a breath of fresh air..
Because, for example, they won games 2-1 when they were told to win 2-0. I'm surprised I have to point it out to you. Berk
Nonsense, Inter did crap because they didn't have enough company cars to get all the staff there, Mancini had no 2nd opinions from his assistant and no physio to sort out the knocks and bangs.
I love the way that is still being brought up when I was 100% completely and utterley proven right. Ahh, so Im assuming therefore that you think Jose Mourinho was better at match fixing than Mancini?
You do realise that the number of posters on this board who know what's going on now and what ever went on in Italian football, or actually gives a ****, is about one?
Seems a strange comment considering other people always engage the conversation with me. I dont sit here chatting to myself. And as you often like to put it, if you dont like it you know what you can do.
Indeed, but if you're going to post 'Erm, why do you think Mancini was sacked despite delivering consecutive Serie A titles for Internazionale?' in a condescending 'what, you don't know about Italian football' nanananana manner, then I think it's reasonable to point out that most of us have probably never actually thought about why Mancini was sacked from Inter despite winning consecutive titles. PS - This is me engaging in conversation.
It really wasnt about that, I was merely pointing out that Mancini has extensive previous CL failure and I wasnt referring to anyone on this board, I meant the media 'shock' at Citeh's CL failure and why they cant comprehend it. And I thought nobody cared anyway?
