OT Anyone noticed anything unusual in the Western skies this week?

Jupiter and Venus in very close orbital proximity.

Very clear earlier in the week.

 

Something you two aren't sharing with the rest of us?

I thought I could spot Venus last night. Wasn't sure if the other particularly bright 'star' was Jupiter or not. Apparently so.

 

In a boring, no Kit Kat kind of way, yes I saw them the other night. Mars (the planet, not the choccy bar) was also very visible a few nights ago too. Jesus I need to find a decent baby sitter and get out more!!

 

All them pesky stars/ planets look the same to me.

I think a lot of people shared your view NFU - but medical evidence* shows that wine is good for you so that makes it ok.

* again, I'm not medically trained so may not be sound advice

 

Alcohol is a disinfectant isn't it? That would mean drinking was just disinfecting your insides, that' must be good mustn't it? Killing all the bacteria and bugs in your system.

 

I once read that piss comes out of one's cock/fanny 100% disinfected by your guts.

Mars rises at about 4pm and Saturn at 9pm. Along with Jupiter, Venus and Mercury(if your quick) that's 5 planets visible in one night. Granted this no interest to anyone but hey ho.
