OT - Allam British Squash Open

Can't see many people going to that to be honest, well not people from Hull anyway. It's not exactly a big sport in Hull is it. Maybe I'm wrong but I can't imagine more than a couple of hundred showing up, I wonder if they will allow beer in the seats and have a line of stewards separating rival fans

 

It's massive worldwide apparently, however it is actually only a little block in the West Stand which is the actual seating with just one court inside the stadium, about 928 seats which are pretty much sold out for each day of the tournment, around 10ish seats left for each day

 

I dunno, a lot of people enjoy playing it.

Might get a few avid fans in.

 

If it was a wally tournament, definitely.

 

I think it's the south stand where people will be sat and there's a couple of blocks of seats. Plenty of tickets left, 100's for each session in fact.

They're going to have to pull their finger out. Looking at the cctv shot above, they're no further on now than they were when I first looked at it.

Are they waiting for a delivery?

 

i used to love playing when i was younger -as a one v one sport i found nothing better

cant say i enjoyed watching others much like... hope its a success though !!

According to Ticketmaster (The Official Seller) it's just one Block in the South Stand which has almost sold out, unless other companies are selling different blocks

 

Ive saide it before I'll say it again, this is really not good when our biggest hindrance all season has been the pitch. Well, behind the lack of strikers...

Come January everyone will be blaming this for the ****e pitch that will cost us £100k to emergency replace during a 2 week window and ask if it was really worth hosting the tournament? Youve heard of Mystic Meg, well I'm Cosmic Crab.

 

Really? It's like you choose to ignore the stuff that's been clearly posted about the pitch, the problems, and what's going to happen very soon to it.
