Hi anyone who has read or replied. Some of you may remember around march ish I posted a thread about being made redundent and requesting advice from fellow fans who have made the leap overseas. I got a number of replies both on here and from family/friends/random strangers and ended up aplying for positions. Today I recieved an email attaching a years contract offer to teach english and a flight to South Korea leaving next friday. I'd like to say a massive thanks to those who offered advice and there viewpoint (either from abroad or at home) I'm really excited about working and travelling around the other end of the world. But of course I will miss all things sunderland. As a very infrequent poster I know I'm not in the inner circle of the forum but I do read it each day and I will continue to use this site as my main point for all things safc, so please keep up the good work guys I will be reading. PS. we better have signed someone before I go.
good luck ! best thing i ever did.. take some tea with you , christ i would kill for a proper cuppa tonight
I hope it all works out well for you. I moved abroad nearly 6 years ago for similar reasons and it has made my life. Sometimes a step into the unknown pays off, I wish you well.
Pleased to hear of your new life. Engliand/Olympics/Ji - flavour of the year at moment. Enjoy yourself and give us an update occasionally.
