I absolutely love Alan Rickman! His voice is like a marshmallow river flowing gently into my ears; delightful.

I get regularly surprised by how good he can be at times. He was great in Shutter Island and The Departed especially.

    <laugh>.

For an individual performance, Heath Ledger as the Joker in the Dark Knight was excellent and thoroughly creepy.

I thought he stole the show in "The Quick and the Dead", he was superb in "Blood Diamonds".

On a more serious note, Kevin Spacey's pretty good.

Apparently it's the lengths he went to to get prepared for the role that led to his eventual suicide. That performance is just unbelievable though, better than Nicholson's for sure.

I think I read he just locked himself in a hotel room for a month and really tried to become the Joker.

    Thought I'd share <diva>

I watched Kevin Spacey when he did, "Inside the Actors Studio", I don't know if you've ever seen this, where famous actors discuss their careers with drama students.
He has done "stand up comedy", he is an amazing impressionist, and made a living doing that for a while.

If you remember the Joker movies in the film, Ledger directed them himself. He really was excellent and it is a shame he isn't around anymore.

Was just about to mention Benicio Del Toro! I thought he was great in No Country for Old Men especially.

Is Daniel Day-Lewis the one in the film about oil?
