Just got a notification that I am a Veteran of three years standing on here! Where's that time gone! I joined intially when they announced the intention to shut the BBC 606 down and Northolt was corralling the troops, but didn't come across fully until the Summer. I think I actually prefer the set up we have here - I occasionally head to JA606 and apart from one stalwart there's no other QPR on there. Just a lot of childish Spurs fans with playground wind ups. There's a bit of cross-team chats on here which is good, but could do with a few more active team boards.
Yeah - have to say I was surprised its been three years. I missed the original BBC 606 when it went, as I also used it for other sports, but I think we've got a good board on here. I know some others do, but I don't tend to use other QPR sites for posting - just reading the odd report.
I go on this one, LFW and WATRBs. I find WATRBs less serious and LFW more serious so this is the Goldilocks site for me I guess!
I came across in the second or third wave of Northolt's recruits and so am still a couple of months off 3 years. As for other boards, I do enjoy QPR Report, which is where I started talking to Bushman and TerryB among others, and LFW where I don’t post very much but have had the occasion article posted, which started my chatting with QPRski.
I couldn't agree more. As you know, we went to the Blackburn match together when he was over from Poland towards the end of last year, he was very good company. I also bounce a lot of ideas off him for articles that I generally never get around to finishing!
I see along along with quite a few of us here, I'll be joining you in March with that distinction. You were obviously part of the first wave!
woo hoo may 2011 **** has it really been nearly 3 years do we get a badge as well a car sticker might be a good idea not that anyone will know what it means down here
