Just watched the second half versus Dragons. The Ospreys were like headless chickens with possession and lost to a comedy of errors. North and Tips took knocks. Depressing stuff.

 

Now they’ve thrown it away at Rodney Parade .......

18-13 up ..... only to lose 18-25

 

They really are suffering from the legacy of the Blyth/Hore era ...... which morphed into Blyth/Bully (at Hore’s suggestion/encouragement).

Davies and James have since displaced Blyth, time for the former prop to the shown the door?

Nah, he coached the seniors but we did meet up a few times. Liked my boy for a lock but he’s always played loose fwd. nice bloke.

Great guy - I remember him starting out in Neath.

Massive win for the Ospreys yesterday. I thought they played well in parts. Nearly pressed the self destruct button right at the end with that careless penalty though.

 

Absolute stupidity - ball came out at 79.53 and they decide to take it forward: simple game management was all that was needed....

That said, a much more committed performance and a deserved win.

 

Rugby was my game once, but they changed the Laws of the game to suit the huge men of South Africa and New Zealand , Now we can have twenty or thirty phases with one team going nowhere. Enjoyment ? ... not for me.
They have now destroyed the game I loved, ..... that great running game has gone.
O.K. I understand that people will disagree with me , especially those who have been brought up with this system,
The game I loved remains a distant memory, but I still have my vids of games, and that great game of Rugby football between the Barbarians and New Zealand.. ............ keep enjoying.

 

Fully agree !

 

There are still people complaining that ' the try ' should have been disallowed due to a forward pass. Just think of all those free pints Gareth would have been denied had that been the case.
