I beg to differ....I can see us a much better team, Not perfect yet but we will get there with a couple more recruits..

 

That will depend on increased funding from WRU....

 

Nope not too bad a team Taff I'd like us to be a force in Europe though, be one of the favorites to reach the get out of the group stages of the Champions cup or be one of the favorites to go deep into Challenge cup, final maybe. But that's not the Ospreys I see next year Taff.

I know we're in neither comp next year but even if we were and North, Williams, Tipuric and AWJ were at full tilt I wouldn't be confident that our team is good enough to advance past the group stage in the Champions Cup or reach the quarters of the Challenge cup.

Pro 14 doesn't look good for us either. Imo, Leinsester (who are way ahead of everyone) Scarlets, Munster and Glasgow are all ahead of us so we'll be competing for minor places in the league against the Blues, Edinburgh, Ulster and qualification for the challenge cup let alone the Champions cup wont be a fore gone conclusion for us.

For us to be a force next year I feel we need to sign a seasoned 9 and 10, not necessarily a marquee signing but maybe a player recently retired from international duties who still has the desire to win and the stamina and skill to guide us through the whole season. Davies and, whoever is his understudy is, at 10 along with Habberfield and Aled Davies at 9 aren't the type of players I see dogging it out in tight, tough games on cold winter days.

To compound the problems I think we'll face next year, both the Davies's, 9 and 10, will be on international duty in the autumn and 6 nations along with probably, Nickie Smith, AWJ, Bradley Davies, James King, Tipuric, Scott Williams, George North, Watkins and Keelan Giles, maybe more so I think next year is going to be tougher for us than this year has been.

Remind me at the end of the season if I'm wrong taff and I'll down a malt or two in your honor.

 

I think we will do ok in the European Challenge Cup - the squad may be strengthened still further but .... only after some players are cut from the squad.

 

I just think they need a new 10 desperately, I thought Sam Davies was going to be the man, but I thinjk he has gone backwards and has already peaked, Pointless having all that talent outside if we have poor 9 and 10 who cant get them going.

Little bit off subject I see glam are on sky in their 20/20,

why do they always do ok at this but are **** at all other forms of cricket.

 

Coz they can't play cricket.

 

Glammy are murdering Hampshire tonight so look as though they are going to T20 finals day again

 

and that is where we always have that glorious failure moment. But at least we get there, providing we don't collapse against Hampshire.
