A good friend of mine Sam Clothier is part of the walk to wembley crowd that are currently between Reading and Heathrow as we speak. Most of you will know that they are doing the walk on behalf of Oskar Pyecroft the young City fan who needs £50k for an operation to enable him to walk, The guys doing the walk have all pretty much smashed their targets and I thought I would post to congratulate them on doing such a selfless act for another young red. I know they are all suffering with blisters and injuries but struggling on. Well done to them all. If anyone has yet to donate and would like to please use Sams link, any amount would greatly appreciated, (I am aware that a lot of you will have donated already!) Many thanks https://www.justgiving.com/Samuel-C...Samuel-Clothier&utm_campaign=pfp-share-mobile
The Oskar website says that his fund is just over £5000 short of its target. It would be great to see Oskar achieve his personal target in time to celebrate the pinnacle achieved by his heroes on the pitch! Update: I am given to understand that the target for Oskar has been achieved. Good Luck to him!!
Yes there was a piece in the programme last night that the operation is scheduled for just after the end of the season. Good Luck young man
It's times like this that football isn't that important. Fair play to all involved and good luck to Oskar for his op being successful.
