Does anyone know anything about an OSC meeting in Cott tomorrow night? I haven't heard anything but have been told there is one in one of the boozers?
It's in the back room at the King Billy on Hallgate. Robbie Brady & Joe Dudgeon are the guest players I believe. Doors open at 7pm?
http://www.hullcityosc.com/ The Cottingham branch will be hosting Robbie Brady and Joe Dudgeon at their first event of 2012 on Monday 16th January at the King Billy pub, Cottingham. Doors are at 7pm for a 7:30pm start. admission is free to all current OSC members and £2 for non members. all ages welcome.
I went along and both Dudg and Brady were a good laugh and the question from the little girl brought the house down. It was also interesting to hear that Brady put his time at City down to Warren Joyce. But for WJ he would not have come. I bet that goes for all the other Man Utd kids. A really enjoyable night. Well done to one and all.
Me and my mate went along to the King Billy and all. Decent night. Nice to see so many City fans in Cott. Dudgeon & Brady were good craic.
I thought they both came across as good lads. Brady was quite witty and Dudgeon also came across as being a bright kid. Felt a bit sorry for the other fella from City when everyone laughed at his name. I was right at the back and couldn't quite catch what was being said though.
Good of you guys that went to give us expat's an insight to what went on, good to hear it was a good night and the boys came over well. Also nice to hear that it was WJ influence and connection that brought them over. Tks
Yes they do and they both come accross as very happy and confident in what the team can achieve this season. A top 2 finish. Like it. Joe Dudgeon has been appointed Hull City players Twitter Police Officer. (he will highlight any fake accounts on his twitter). Dudg said that only he - Garcia - Coops -Cammy - Cullen - Devitt have live twitter accounts now. The assistant press offiver who comes with the players to functions is referred by some as Penfold. His real name is Jethro Shearring and somebody made a wooly sheep comment hence the laughter at the front.
John. Brady said that he would not be here but for W.J. and that it was Nick that wanted and talked him into coming back for the rest of the season. Not only did W.J. get the lads here but its gonna be Nick that keeps them here. I loved the line from Dudg...""When Nick speaks We all listen."" The respect Nick is shown was there for all to see.
That is very interesting FT, good to hear he has managed to transfer the respect he had on the pitch from his fellow team mates into the managers office.
Gutted i didnt get to this one, and it sounds like i missed a good night, thanks to FT and others for the info on what went on last night x
Go on then, since you've said that without saying what the question was I'm guessing there's some fishing going on so I'll be the first to bite. What was the question?
